Students in 6, 7, and 8 were learning about food science. We used the i-pads to research simple projects that we could do in class. Some examples were making electricity out of a potato and creating static electricity. The 3 important words for the students are Hypothesis, Procedure and Conclusion. I am hoping to host a middle school food science fair next year with judges and presentations by the students.
The 7th grade team won third place in the state. Kudos to Sam, Nick,A lex and Vincent!!!!! A big improvement from last year. We will begin play in February with new teams. Any parent with an interest in investing, feel free to contact me and speak to the students.
